Humpback whales can measure up to 52 feet long and may weigh as much as 79,000 pounds. Famous for their 'song', they can be seen throwing two-thirds or more of their body out of the water in an activity called a "breach". Humpbacks feed in northern waters and migrate to tropical waters to mate and give birth. We experienced these magnificent creatures off the coast of Maui, Hawaii.
